BESTOLIFE® Copper Rock is a lead-free, zinc-free thread compound formulated for rock drill steel joints, couplings, and bits. Engineered to provide superior galling and seizing resistance, it also delivers surface-active extreme pressure protection for demanding drilling applications.
Developed in response to environmental restrictions and exposure concerns associated with lead and zinc-based compounds, Copper Rock features a high percentage of copper flake blended with a proprietary mix of amorphous and synthetic graphite in a premium high-temperature base grease. Its extreme pressure package adheres to metal surfaces, enhancing load-carrying capability under high bearing stresses—especially in rotary-shouldered and percussion rock drilling connections.
