BESTOLIFE® API Modified Canadian (CN) Summer Grade (SG) is a premium metallic thread compound designed for casing, tubing, and line pipe applications. Formulated to meet or exceed API RP 5A3 and ISO 13678 standards, it delivers superior performance in high-pressure, high-temperature environments.
This compound protects against connection galling during makeup and breakout, prevents leakage at temperatures exceeding 300°F, and withstands pressures up to 10,000 psi. It resists water absorption, disintegration, and volume changes, and will not harden, dry out, evaporate, or oxidize. The formulation includes H₂S and corrosion inhibitors to prevent pitting and degradation during use and storage.
