Collar Pipe Plus was developed to provide a drilling compound that performs in arctic conditions; applying easily at very low temperatures without any loss of performance at normal ambient temperatures.
It contains copper flake combined with a proprietary blend of amorphous and synthetic graphite, in arctic base grease. In addition to the galling and seizing protection provided by the solids, it contains low temperature base oil that sticks to steel surfaces under most environmental conditions.
The solids and grease blend help to provide the load carrying capability required by the high bearing stresses present in rotary shouldered connections.
It applies easily over a wide range of temperatures.
