Style 1392S is a general service PTFE-impregnated, highperformance synthetic packing. Engineered to handle a
wide variety of service conditions, style 1392S is especially
useful in applications including stock pumps, beaters,
jordans, hydro pulpers, hydrofiners, stock chests, digester
pumps, sewage pumps, water pumps, mixer and agitator
shafts, blenders and groove gasking.
Style 1392S is braided of our exclusive Quadrasyn™ composite
containing Aramid and Kynol™, heavily impregnated with
virgin PTFE dispersion and saturated with our proprietary
high-temperature lubricant. Since no graphite is used in its
construction, style 1392 cannot discolor fluids being pumped.
Style 1392S is recommended for general service in such fluids
as air, oils, water, steam, brines and many mild to moderately
reactive chemicals. (Available in rectangular cross-sections.)
