Palmetto Style 5080 – Severe Service – Carbon Graphite

Style 5080 was created to handle high shaft speeds
and hot water/steam service in static and dynamic
applications. The flexible graphite portion has excellent
high-temperature sealability and the 95% assay carbon
yarn corners prevent extrusion of the flexible graphite.
The marriage of these materials produces a packing
that can standardize an entire plant and reduce leakage
to virtually zero for significant maintenance and
operational savings.
