What is Artificial Lift?
While some oil wells contain enough pressure for oil to rise to the surface by itself, most wells don’t, requiring extra help. In the US, 96% of the oil wells require artificial lift to produce.
Artificial lift is more than pumping. Its a process used on oil wells to increase pressure within the reservoir and thus force oil to the surface.
