Bestolife 3000 was the first completely non-metallic drilling compound that was specifically formulated to address environmental concerns as well as the costs of thread compounds that had a high percentage of heavy metals in their formula.
This formulation contains a variety of amorphous and synthetic graphite-based materials that combine to make a gasket-like seal to prevent connection washout even under high internal fluid pressures.
By using premium quality materials and high-temperature based grease, Bestolife was able to enhance their performance to make this non-metallic compound specifically for rotary-shouldered connections.
