Built for performance. Proven in the field.
When we created Red Seal, our goal was simple: build a product line that the ALS industry wanted and needed. We saw an opportunity to deliver high-performance sealing and wear components that operators could depend on in the field, day after day. The focus wasn’t on creating a brand for the sake of having a brand—it was about creating products that performed.
So, where did the name come from?
Meet Red.
Ironically, Red is a Black Lab. Long before he became the inspiration behind the brand, Steven always wanted a dog named Red. As an avid hunter, he liked the name because it was short, strong, and easy to call. A one-syllable name carries well, gets attention, and commands a quick response in the field. Simple. Effective. Memorable.
Years later, those same qualities made it the perfect name for a product line.

Red’s life quite literally started at CPP. As a puppy, he accompanied Steven on sales calls, meeting customers, vendors, and industry partners along the way. Over the years, he became a familiar face to many people in the industry. While he may not have been discussing sealing solutions or closing deals, he was building relationships in his own way.
Today, Red is still part of the team. He’s a little greyer than he used to be, but you’ll often find him relaxing on one of the office couches, greeting visitors, or stretched out by a sunny window enjoying the afternoon.
While Red inspired the name, the success of Red Seal has been driven by performance. We developed the product line to provide dependable sealing and wear components capable of standing up to the demanding conditions of Artificial Lift Systems. Our customers were looking for products that could deliver consistency, durability, and reliability, and that’s exactly what we set out to build.
The loyalty came later.
As customers experienced the performance of Red Seal products firsthand, confidence grew. Relationships strengthened. The Red Seal name became associated with quality and dependability in the field. That’s the kind of reputation that can’t be created through marketing alone—it has to be earned through results.
Today, Red Seal represents more than a product line. It represents a commitment to delivering products that perform and supporting the customers who rely on them every day.
And while nobody likes to think about the day when Red is no longer napping by the window or greeting staff at the office door, his legacy will live on. Every Red Seal product carries a piece of the story that inspired it—a reminder that the best brands are built on performance, strengthened by relationships, and remembered for the impact they leave behind.
